Avenues Family Handbook

Avenues is committed to creating a caring, safe and nurturing environment that promotes the wellbeing and dignity of each child, aligning to our community values of welcome, safety and respect. 

We expect all Avenues community members including administrators, faculty, staff, parents and volunteers to share this commitment. We believe that all children have equal rights to be protected from harm of their bodies, minds and/or spirits so that they are healthy and emotionally unafraid. 

We proactively protect children and will respond effectively when any child's safety is compromised, in full alignment with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. 

Our Safeguarding Policy guides our practice and all faculty, staff and volunteers adhere to our Safe Working Practices.
